Step-by-Step: How to Claim Your Cigna Dental Insurance
1. Let us know that you will be using Cigna insurance
You can let us know when booking the appointment that Cigna is your dental provider. We will also require that you bring your NRIC/FIN card when registering with us to verify your identity.
2. Log in to the Cigna portal and provide us with the type of coverage you have.
Cigna is a self-claimed dental insurance. Our team will assist you in filling out forms as accurately as possible. We’re here to ensure that the claim submission process is smooth and easy for you!
3. During Your Appointment
Our dentists will do a dental exam. As Cigna is a self-claim insurance, we will not have external access to your insurance policy. It is best to check your policy in advance and let us know the procedures that are covered. Occasionally, more complex treatments like Invisalign, crowns, or dental implants are required. Our team will then write you a treatment plan and insurance pre-authorisation letter for the next visit.
4. After Your Appointment
As Cigna is a self-claim insurance, payment is collected on the day of treatment. Our concierge team will provide you with your invoice and supporting documents so you can submit your claim for reimbursement. This may be submitted to the HR in your company or directly through the Cigna portal. This depends on your company’s policy.
5. See you for your 6 monthly dental visits!

Please bring your Cigna Member card, or log in to your Cigna Portal BEFORE your dental appointment to determine which dental procedures are claimable. Most simple dental procedures like dental exams, scaling and polishing, and fillings are claimable; do verify this before you come in though! Cigna is a self-claim insurance and payment will be collected on the day of treatment. We then give you an invoice that you will submit to HR or directly to Cigna for reimbursement.
