Dr Sulin Quak graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from NUS. Since undergraduate times, she was actively involved in paediatric dentistry as the Paediatric Dentistry Class Representative and also as a volunteer for preschool dental screening and education programmes. Upon graduation, she was awarded the IFDEA Prize for Paediatric Dentistry (Best student in Paediatric Dentistry in the final Bachelor of Dental Surgery examination). Dr Quak worked at multiple public healthcare institutions including polyclinic, Health Promotion Board and KKH Women’s and Children’s Hospital before embarking on her paediatric dentistry residency. She completed her residency with flying colours and was again awarded a Medal and Prize for Best student in Paediatric Dentistry in the final Masters of Dental Surgery examination.
Given her vast clinical experience in multiple public institutions, she is adept in a wide range of complex paediatric dental treatment including treatment under sedation and general anaesthesia, special needs dentistry, management of complex dental trauma as well as orthodontic treatment for children. Dr Quak believes strongly in early preventive care and in empowering all caregivers to nurture healthy dental habits for their little ones. Dr Quak’s love for children can be seen from her genuine interactions and care for each and every child, no matter how different or unique they are! Apart from dentistry, Dr Sulin Quak believes in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. She used to be a competitive squash player but now plays a variety of racket sports on a social level. She loves nature, outdoors, and adventures – taking annual overseas trips for hiking, biking, surfing and skiing 😀
