Dr. Yuan graduated from NUS with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has amassed a wealth of experience working in government institutions such as polyclinics, the National Dental Centre, the Institute of Mental Health, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, as well as nearly 10 years of experience in the private sector.
Dr. Yuan believes strongly in building trust and rapport with her patients. With her keen eyes and kind heart, she always strives to minimize anxiety and discomfort while delivering meticulously crafted work. Her warm and reassuring demeanor always makes her patients feel at ease during appointments. Nonetheless, as a very gentle and empathetic clinician, she ensures she listens to her patients’ concerns and explains procedures and options clearly.
Outside of work, she indulges in collecting figurines, music boxes, and shopping for her daughter's dresses. During the pandemic, her professional talent took a fun turn. Instead of fixing teeth, she ventured into making clay sculptures and wood carvings and became quite proficient at them. She even managed to sell a few pieces in a mini-online auction to some serious collectors.
